Working At Heights Training Program
Hamisco Industrial Sales has been approved by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development’s Chief Prevention Officer to offer a Working at Heights Training Program to any interested people, company or individual seeking training for working at heights.
This Working at Heights Training Program Standard is designed to support consistent and quality training for workers in the Province of Ontario, with respect to core competencies required for working at heights.
As stated by the MLITSD:
“The purpose of the Working at Heights Training Program Standard is to establish a threshold of high quality and consistency for training for workers who work at heights in the Province of Ontario.”
It is the responsibility of you and your employer to ensure that the legislative requirements for working at heights and fall protection are clearly understood and followed.

Certificates
Upon completion of the 8 hour training course students will be issued an official certificate showing proof of training from Hamisco. Each student shall register online with the Ministry of Labour to obtain online access of their individual certificates.

Materials Provided
Course materials, Participant Manual, Quick Reference Card, and writing utensils will be provided.

Breaks & Lunch
2 – 10-min breaks, 30-min lunch. Coffee & water will be provided in the morning. Please plan for your own lunch.

No Charge Cancellation
If for any reason you cannot attend your training class that you have booked, you can contact us at least 5 business days prior to class for a full refund. Please view attached Cancellation Policy for more information.

Cancellation Policy
Hamisco Industrial Sales Inc. Working at Heights Training
We recommend students arrive 15 minutes prior to the course to sign in and fill out the required paperwork.
Registrants who arrive 30 minutes or more after the start of the class will not be permitted to participate, and will forfeit their course fee.
Students who fail to arrive on the date of their course will forfeit the course fee.
Registrants will forfeit the full course fee if cancellation notice or date transfer requests are received fewer than 5 business days prior to the scheduled course date.
A company may substitute a registrant up to one day prior to the course date without penalty.
Hamisco Industrial Sales Inc. does not provide transfer credits. Individuals who wish to re-register for a course at a later day for any of the following reasons (absenteeism, tardiness, failing to pass the course, being asked to leave the course for any reason, or canceling with fewer than 5 business days’ notice) will be required to pay the full course fee for any subsequent course dates.
Hamisco Industrial Sales Inc. reserves the right to cancel any scheduled courses 5 business days in advance of course commencement. Hamisco Industrial Sales Inc. will notify registered individuals as soon as the class has been canceled.
