RoofGuard Railing Systems

Here at Hamisco, we offer the installation of a free-standing railing system that eliminates potential hazards and falls on roof tops. This system can be quickly and easily installed.  It does not penetrate the roof membrane. This Roof Guard System uses attached counterbalance weights and can be configured to handle almost any hazard.  The Roof Guard Classic meets and exceeds OSHA Standards, National Building Codes, Ontario Building Codes, and Ontario Regulations.

Anchor Points

Engineered Anchor Points (3M/Capital Safety & Honeywell) can be purchased and our fully-trained and qualified service team can install them quickly.

Roof Top anchors can be installed on the following materials;

  • Standing Seam Roof
  • Composite/Built-Up Roof
  • Bituminous/Membrane Roof
  • PVC Membrane Roof

D-Ring Anchors can be installed on the following materials;

  • Concrete
  • I-Beams
  • Structural Steel

After installation of D-Ring anchor points, our service team will pull-test the anchor by using our Hydra-Jaws pull-test machine to ensure the intergral strength and the anchor point is safe for use. Note -Installations and specifications may vary based on the manufacturers user manual and recommendations.

Davit Arm Bases

Davit Arm Mount Bases (3M/Capital Safety, Honeywell, Xtirpa) can be purchased and installed by our fully-trained and qualified service team.  Floor Mount, Wall Mount, Core Mount and Deck Mount bases are available to adapt to various workplace environments and requirements. Engineered drawings are provided upon completion to ensure manufacturers installation specifications and requirements were met AND exceeded.

Horizontal Lifelines

The 3M/Capital Safety Uni-Line Horizontal Lifeline System provides and engineered fall protection solution to reduce the risk and increase safety when working at heights. Our knowledgeable service team are qualified and fully trained to help provide the right solution in the most responsive and cost-effective way possible, all while helping to ensure worker safety and customer satisfaction.

The 3M/Capital Safety Uni-Rail system is best suited to modern building projects for internal and external facade access, inspection and maintenance, including walkways and suspended gantries. The system has aslso been used extensively for suspended access work by rope access technicians as it meets the requirements of both abseil and fall protection standards.

Ladder Climbing Systems

Here at Hamisco we are trained and certified to install 3M/Capital Safety’s Lad-Saf Ladder Climbing Cable System. The Lad-Saf flexible cable system consists of a top and bottom bracket that act as anchors for a steel cable that runs the length of the climbing area. A Lad-Saf sleeve connects the worker to the system, automatically follows the user during the climb and locks onto the cable in the event of a fall, allowing the user to regain their footing. Designed for ease of use, economy, and versatility; optional brackets and designs are available for bolting or welding the system. Choose rung clamp sizes and styles, choose systems for straight or curved ladders and for connection to wood, concrete or steel structures. Hundreds of different brackets, styles and configurations are available to suit almost any application. In addition, the versatile system can be used by up to four workers simultaneously for added jobsite flexibility.

Safety Netting

Here at Hamisco we are trained and certified to install RackGuard Netting on industrial pallet racking to prevent objects and pallets from falling and injuring individuals. RackGuard netting is a cost-effective, engineered solution designed to make warehouses safer for employees and visitors alike. RackGuard is installed on the back of storage racking to protect aisle ways, work areas and machinery from products that may become dislodged and fall to the ground below.
